Surviving an Active Killer Event

This class discusses what to do and how to do it, should someone find themselves in an Active Killer Event.  We focus heavily on the "OODA loop" and situational awareness.  This course covers and explains the "run hide fight" principle and what happens during and after an AKE. This information transfers over to everyday life (public functions, grocery stores, traveling in your car) and not just AKE's.  This is a lecture style class and, although encouraged, does not require any class participation.

1-1.5 hours     $300 for as many people as you would like (pending that they all work for your company)

Tactical Traumatic Aid

In this course we will cover how  to tactically apply medical aid during and/or after a traumatic event. These events could be anything from an accident around the house, a vehicular accident, or even an active shooter mass casualty event. We will cover IFAKS (individual first aid kit), the MARCH assessment, the need for and use of tourniquets, chest seals, and pressure dressings. We will also discuss how to evacuate people, cover vs. concealment, and legal liability and limitations within the Good Samaritan act. There is a hands on practical application portion of this class, and you will need to demonstrate proper applications of tourniquets to be issued a certificate of completion. Your instructors for this class will be a full time firefighter/paramedic and a Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) special topics instructor law enforcement

1.5-2 hours    $400 for up to 30 people (we limit it due to the practical application portion of the class).
